These problems were caused by mountains, high-rise buildings and weather conditions.
DAB, however, uses these effects as reflectors creating multipath reception conditions to optimise receiver sensitivity. Since DAB always selects the strongest regional transmitter automatically, you`ll always be at the focal point of incoming radio signals.

Dab In Car ProductsMost DAB in-car radios consist of three parts. Firstly, there is the digital radio black box, stored in the boot of the car. Next, there is a compatible headunit, fitted with either a CD or cassette option and thirdly there is a compact digital aerial.
Dab In Home ProductsDAB Hi-Fi Tuners currently on the market are separates that plug into existing hi-fi systems or stand alone. Whilst some manufacturers have developed DAB only tuners, others have developed combined DAB/FM/AM units.
