On behalf of all the artists and the entire Florida Grand Opera staff, we extend our best wishes and prayers to all of our supporters and their families during this difficult time of recovery following Hurricane Wilma.
Our main offices lost power for 9 days, which includes our box office as well as our main rehearsal space. The cast and crew for La fanciulla del West continued on with rehearsals - with generators giving just enough energy for light. We`re happy to report that power has been restored at both Miami-Dade County Auditorium and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. We will be opening the season as scheduled on Saturday, November 12 at 7PM!
